Driver Solutions Celebrates Trucker Appreciation Week

Blood Drive Bus

In celebration of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, August 24th - August 30th, Driver Solutions teamed with one of it's affiliate training partners, C1 Truck Driver Training, to mark the event.  The C1 campus in Indianapolis hosted a cookout for Driver Solutions Network students.  The companies jointly run the "Driven to Care" community program to give back to the community and promote active participation and volunteering.

On Thursday, August 28, 2008, in appreciation of the truck driving community, Driver Solutions and C1 Truck Driver Training held a blood drive to benefit the Indiana Blood Center.  Between the staff and students, the companies collected 41 units of blood.  The free cookout offered an opportunity for school staff, Driver Solutions recruiters, and truck driving school students to recognize the hard work and dedication of truck drivers.

Employees at the Blood Drive

Driver Solutions specializes in the recruitment and training of inexperienced truck drivers looking to start a great new career in the trucking industry.  We know that if we got it, a  truck driver brought it, and that's why we appreciate the great American truck driver.

Driven to Care is an ongoing commitment to the community we work and live in.  Driver Solutions' employees are dedicated to helping out any way they can.  We've participated in blood drives, volunteering at the Wheeler Mission, and numerous individual volunteer opportunities.  To learn more about the Driven to Care community involvement program, watch our video.
