CDL Class Jobs
In order to get CDL Class jobs, you need specialized training. A Class A license will allow you to drive a tractor-trailer with a combined weight of more than 26,000 pounds and a trailer weight of more than 10,000 pounds. A Class B license is required for a trailer of less than 10,000 pounds and a combined weight of more than 26,000 pounds. A Class C CDL is needed for a vehicle of 26,000 pounds or less which will transport hazardous materials or 16 or more passengers.
The training that will qualify you for these CDL jobs is expensive, often costing thousands of dollars. Don’t let that stop you, though. If you think you are qualified for one of these CDL class jobs, there are trucking companies standing by to help.
