CDL Class Driver Jobs
There are three classes of Commercial Driver’s Licenses. Those holding a class A license are authorized to drive a tractor-trailer with a gross vehicle combined weight rating of more than 26,000 pounds, including a trailer weight of more than 10,000 pounds. A class B license is required to operate a straight-line vehicle with a GVWR of more than 26,000 pounds or a tractor-trailer with a trailer of less than 10,000 pounds. You must hold a class C license to operate a vehicle of less than 26,000 pounds if it is used to transport hazardous materials or 16 or more passengers.
