A Holiday Thank You to Truck Drivers from Driver Solutions
During this holiday season, Abby and everyone at Driver Solutions would like to acknowledge the truck drivers that will be out there on the roads all winter. Truck drivers keep our economy running, spending long hours and consecutive days out on the interstates to make sure we have what we want and what we need. While we should continue to appreciate and respect truck drivers throughout the year, everyone can take an extra moment to tell a truck driver "Thanks for a job well done." Many truck drivers have to make a tough choice to leave their home and family for days or weeks at a time in order to make a truck driving career. While truck drivers are out delivering to malls and stores, we're shopping for gifts for our loved ones. When we're baking and cooking a holiday meal and special treats for our family, they might be warming leftovers at a truck stop. When we're together spending the cold nights by the fire with our family, they're alone in their bunk on the highway.
This holiday season, take a little extra time to show appreciation to the truck drivers that keep our shelves stocked. Give them room to merge, wave, or even say hello and thanks. Remember, almost everything that'll be in your stocking or under your tree spent time on a truck!
