See what life is like at a truck driving school, week by week. CDL Classroom instructor Keith explains what happens during the first week of CDL training, which is spent in the classroom. Students learn vital skills that will be put to use as they begin driving such as map reading, trip planning, the CDL skills test and pre-trip inspection, and safety standards. Instructors work one-on-one with students learning all the background knowledge they need in order to safely and effectively operate a vehicle in the closed driving range.
