Do I have to sign a contract?
It depends on which Driver's Choice program you decide to go with. If you choose the Basic or Classic programs, the company will ask that you sign a one year contract in return for them paying the upfront cost of your tuition. But with the Premier program, no contract is required and Driver Solutions still gets you a job offer before you even attend the CDL training school.

What happens after I apply?
Once your online application is submitted, you are assigned a Driver Agent that will work with you to obtain a job offer. Please call your Driver Agent at the time you have selected. If you do not call your Driver Agent, then we cannot work on obtaining a job offer with one the companies within the Driver Solutions Network.

What is a Driver Agent?
A Driver Agent is the person assigned to you that will work on obtaining you a job offer. This person will also be able to answer specific questions you might have about the companies within the Driver Solutions Network as well as general questions regarding the trucking industry and the training program.

I completed the application but no one has call me. Why?
When you completed your application, you were prompted to select a time to call your personal Driver Agent. Due to the volume of incoming calls and applications, our staff cannot make outgoing calls to all applicants. If you are unsure of who you need to contact, you can call 1-888-855-1645 between the hours of 8am and 4pm EST, Monday through Friday to speak with a recruiter who can get you in the right direction.

Do I have to pay to fill out an application?
No, there are no fees to fill out the application. Once you submit your online application, you are assigned your own personal Driver Agent that will work with you to obtain you a job offer.

Why do you need my Social Security Number on the application?
The Department of Transportation requires all truck driving job applicants to provide the valid Social Security Number when completing the job application. In order to complete the background check process, we are required to provide personal identity information such as your date of birth and Social Security Number. This information is required for criminal checks, motor vehicle reports and employment verifications. Your identity information is kept secure and will never be publicly shared or sold.
