Do I get paid while I am in training?
You are not on payroll during your initial CDL training at the truck driving school. Once you complete the CDL training, you'll begin receiving pay during the on-the-job training known as the OTR training phase.

How long does the CDL training take?
The Driver Solutions Network training program takes about 3 weeks to complete. The CDL training covers more than just basic driving skills. The training includes classes on logging, DOT regulations, map reading and trip planning.

When does the training start?
For your convenience, we have training classes that start every Monday, all year long. And is usually only takes a day or two to secure a job offer with one of the Driver Solutions Network trucking companies, so you will be able to start your new career in a stable job market in no time.

Will I be able to find a job after I complete training?
Your personal Driver Agent will work with you to secure a job offer for you from one of the Driver Solutions Network trucking companies PRIOR to starting your training. As long as you complete the CDL training and pass all of the requirements, your job will be waiting for you once you complete your training.

Do the driving instructors have experience driving a truck?
Our driving instructors and trainers each have had an average of over 5 years of professional over-the-road truck driving experience. The instructors understand the issues facing new drivers and can help by relating their knowledge and experience of the career. In addition to their own driving experience, each instructor completes an intensive instructional program on effective CDL training.
